eMail Signature
Other than word of mouth, this has got to be the easiest way to promote your site and get traffic. This little tip could potentially boost the amount of visitors to your site and therefore grow your list. And it’s 100% absolutely, positively FREE.
Simply create your signature in your email to promote your site and it will go out with each email you send.
It doesn’t matter if you are sending your email out to family, friends or other business associates that may not be interested in your business. They may know someone who is interested and pass along the information.
Keep it short and simple. Two to three lines is plenty. Be sure to include a link linking back to your squeeze page.
Here’s what you will need to do.
For Yahoo! accounts:
- Sign into your email account.
- Click on the options tab. This tab should be on the top right hand side.
- When you click on this, it will give you a drop down menu.
- Choose mail options.
- Now on the left hand side on the screen you should have several options to choose from.
- Signature should be the second one. Click it.
- When the box appears, you can now type whatever you want to promote your site.
- Don’t forget to save any changes you make.
For Horde accounts:
- Sign into your account.
- Click on the options tab. This tab is located along the top on the right third of the screen.
- Under General Options, you will click on Personal Information.
- You will find the Signature box at the bottom of the page.
- Don’t forget to Save Options.
For other email accounts:
By now you get the picture…
- Find the Options tab
- Find the Signature tab
- Write your signature
- And save it, otherwise you’ll just have to do it all again.
